After a first order, send a welcome series that walks the customer through other products or asks for a review, triggered automatically by joining a list or getting a tag after checkout. Order history goes into custom fields on the contact, so later you can address that segment differently from someone who has not bought anything yet.

Events from your shop – an order completed, a cart abandoned, a loyalty milestone reached – go to the /api/v1/events API endpoint, which is part of the Pro and Enterprise plans, and trigger the matching sequence automatically. Seasonal campaigns or a sale can be scheduled ahead of time for an exact date and hour – scheduled sending works on every plan, including Free.
